CHRIS KANTARIS

Founder Chris Kantaris, finds himself a high profile within the railway sector for Common Safety Method & Interoperability. With over 20 years’ experience in the industry, Chris and his dedicated team have performed assurance roles on several high-profile projects. These include the East Coast Mainline, Northern Programmes, Thameslink and HS2.

Trading since 2008, Railway Assurance steadily but surely have become specialists in providing CSM-REA (Common Safety Method) & RIR (Interoperability) Services including Hazard Management, CSM-REA and Interoperability documentation, CSM-REA and Interoperability training courses and HAZID or HAZOP facilitation.

Whilst maintaining a good relationship with Approving Bodies such as Assessment Bodies (AB), Approved Bodies (ApBo) and Designated Bodies (DeBo), Network Rail Assurance Panel (NRAP), Rail Safety and Standards Board (RSSB) and the Office of Rail and Road (ORR), we continue to ensure an effective and professional standard of work, from start to finish.

With the complexity of the CSM-REA and Interoperability regulations it is essential that Rail projects understand the intricacies of the associated deliverables and their outputs. Railway Assurance has experience in supporting projects through these processes. With our support projects ultimately achieve supportive Safety Assessment Reports and Authorisation from the ORR (if required).

We at Railway Assurance understand the complications that have arisen for businesses due to COVID-19, and are a fully flexible team, offering face-to-face meetings but also online options, such as zoom and teams’ meetings to accommodate one and all..
