For many years Railway Assurance has supported projects in the Rail industry over a breadth of disciplines, to successfully deliver compliance against the Common Safety Method Regulations. Our staff have a wealth of knowledge and experience managing the process and interfacing with Independent Assessment Bodies.

Our projects range from new stations, station developments, implementation of new technology, introduction of new rolling stock, platform extensions, re-signalling, level crossing upgrades, depots as well as third party projects interfacing with the mainline railway.

RAILWAY INTEROPERABILITY REGULATIONS

The Railways Interoperability Regulations 2011 (RIR) came into force on 16 January 2012 and implement the EC Directive 2008/57/EC on the interoperability of the UK rail system.

Railway Assurance Ltd have been managing the interoperability process on behalf of projects to secure successful Authorisations from the ORR for many years now. Successful projects include Kenilworth, Werrington, Wolverhampton and Worcestershire Parkway Stations.
